Ayurvedic Head & Face Massage (Shiroabhyanga & Mukhabhyanga)  According to traditional Indian Medicine (Ayurveda), the head is the most important part of the body because all the sense organs are located in it. Head massage provides nourishment to all sense organs and promotes their normal and natural functioning. A variety of Ayurvedic oils are used for this type of massage, chosen according to Ayurvedic principles that focus on balancing you. Some of the benefits of Shiroabhyanga include relaxation, reduction in frequency of headaches, encouraging hair growth and preventing hair fall, improving sleep and improving blood and lymph circulation. Mukhabhyanga consists of applying herbal oil or paste on the face followed by a massage. Some products that may be used include saffron and turmeric creams or Ksheerabala 101  oil. Book Now.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice and 'no shows' will be charged at 100% of the treatment cost. This is because I may not be able to fill your appointment slot and still need to cover my costs. Please cancel as soon as possible if a foreseeable event is likely to prevent you from attending, for example, illness or adverse weather conditions. If you need to cancel your appointment at short notice, because of a long-term medical condition which varies from day to day, then we shall discuss the cost implications on a case by case basis. An invoice for any cancellation / ‘no show’ charges will be sent to you by email for payment by bank transfer within 7 days. Following a cancellation, payment must be received before any further massage bookings can be taken. It is important that our agreed appointment time and duration is adhered to. I appreciate that sometimes things happen and that you may arrive a little later or need to leave a bit earlier than planned. This is fine, but I cannot make up the missed time by overrunning or adding time to subsequent appointments.
