Referrals and Multidisciplinary Collaboration
I welcome referrals from GPs, psychotherapists, physiotherapists, social workers, and other allied health professionals.
My practice is rooted in helping people become more embodied—reconnecting with sensation, regulation, and safety in their bodies—particularly those living with chronic pain, anxiety, dissociation, or recovering from trauma. Whether used alongside talking therapies, medical interventions, or as part of ongoing rehabilitation, this work supports deeper healing through the mind-body connection.
How I Can Support Your Clients
Clients may benefit from sessions with me if they are:
-
Living with chronic or persistent pain
-
Navigating trauma, PTSD, or emotional overwhelm
-
Feeling disconnected from their bodies or experiencing dissociation
-
Seeking gentle touch therapies alongside psychotherapy or clinical care
-
In recovery from illness, surgery or injury
-
On a gender-affirming journey and looking for safe, respectful touch
-
Wanting to explore somatic awareness and emotional regulation through bodywork
Further down this page you will be able to find a section dedicated to the benefits of bodywork.
Sessions are always client-led, with ongoing consent, space for verbal or non-verbal processing, and adjustments made for sensory, physical, or emotional needs.
Therapies Offered
My work draws from several traditions and methods, including:
-
Somatic approaches informed by Polyvagal Theory, trauma studies, and embodiment practices
-
Western styles of bodywork including Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy and MLD
-
Thai and Ayurvedic massage
-
Reiki & energy-based work
Each session is uniquely tailored, offering a supportive space for clients to explore their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs at their own pace.
Collaborative Care & Communication
Where appropriate and with a client’s informed consent, I welcome the opportunity to communicate with other professionals involved in their care.
This may include:
-
Sharing relevant insights about a client’s physical or emotional presentation
-
Coordinating around treatment goals or boundaries
-
Providing progress updates or observations from bodywork sessions
-
Discussing contraindications or adjustments based on medical or psychological factors
All collaborative communication is consent-based, confidential, and conducted with full respect for ethical and professional boundaries. Clients can withdraw consent at any time.

Benefits of Bodywork
As more and more research is done on the effectiveness of the many massage therapies available, we are coming to understand that there are tremendous benefits to be achieved through regular massage treatments from a registered and fully qualified massage therapist. Whether for relaxation, reduction of muscle tension or the attaining of relief from chronic pain, a therapeutic massage can enhance the overall sense of emotional and physical wellbeing, especially when done over a period of time giving the body and mind time to heal.

In 2024, the Association of Massage Therapists (AMT) of Australia published a report entitled: “Systematic reviews and meta-analyses of massage therapy. A review of current evidence.” Click here to access the report.
